I draw inspiration from connections in life. My ideas depart from the interactions of every organic and non-organic matter exposed to me through my surroundings. Where I focus, the most is in presence of time and space. Every living and non-living organism is exposed to some sort of change through time. The change this organism shows also tells a story reflecting that time has passed and influenced them. The big picture goal with my work is to deliver a story of time and space and make the audience feel how real it is.My creative process begins with a simple doodle or a molded piece of clay. The shape or form that is born from my subconscious mind. It comes from deep with in my mind, from images that I’m exposed to on a daily basis. Once the idea becomes concrete and functional, it serves to deliver a piece of art that connects with the audience. The connection I want my audience to feel is a deep as the connection that I have with my subconscious mind. A connection that goes as deep as the earliest recollection of my mind.  Memories from different cities and environments that I been exposed to have remain hidden deep in my subconscious and I explore them often in dreams. Often when I sculpt the medium of choice, it’s whatever material that could be mold with ease, but could maintain its form and neither be affected much by temperature or moisture. Sometimes the right material could come from where you least expect it. Like the wax that wraps a piece of cheese. That is why as an Artist I’m always exploring different materials even if they’re not the common medium of choice for must.My Artistic work is an expression of my own exposure to an environment that it is continuously evolving. This consistent exposure to the environment not only shapes me and my artwork, but how everything and everyone is connected in time and space. This is the story that I want my audience to see and feel through my work.
